Body Sculpt & Tone Contraindications

Thank you for booking your Body Sculpt & Tone treatment.

Please read the information below before your appointment. This helps us check that the treatment is suitable for you and avoids any wasted visits.

Body Sculpt & Tone is a cosmetic body treatment using ultrasonic cavitation, radio frequency, vacuum massage and electric roller massage on one chosen area.

This treatment is not suitable for everyone. If any of the points below apply to you, please email us before your appointment at agelessbeautynewark@gmail.com or call us on 01636 330016.

Please contact us before your appointment if you:

  • Are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding

  • Have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device

  • Have metal implants, surgical implants, pins or plates in or near the treatment area

  • Have a contraceptive coil/IUD and are having the abdomen treated

  • Have cancer, are undergoing cancer treatment, or are in remission without medical approval

  • Have a heart condition, including previous heart attack, heart disease or uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Have a history of blood clots, thrombosis, DVT or clotting problems

  • Have kidney or liver disease

  • Have uncontrolled diabetes

  • Have epilepsy

  • Have severe varicose veins in the treatment area

  • Have an abdominal hernia, if treating the stomach area

  • Have had recent surgery in or near the treatment area

  • Have active infection, inflammation, swelling, open wounds, cuts, bruising, rash, sunburn or broken skin in the area

  • Have reduced skin sensation in the treatment area

  • Are feeling unwell, have a fever, or are taking antibiotics for an active infection

  • Are taking blood-thinning medication

  • Are taking steroid medication

  • Have an autoimmune condition

  • Have poor circulation

  • Have had recent cosmetic injectables, filler, laser, IPL, tattooing or another advanced treatment in the area

  • Have implants, mesh, silicone or prosthetics in or near the treatment area

  • Have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis in the area

  • Are on your period and are having the abdomen treated

  • Are unsure whether the treatment is suitable for you

Treatment areas

This treatment is for selected body areas only. Suitable areas may include the tummy, thighs, hips, waist, upper arms or back.

We do not treat over the chest, front of neck, intimate areas, broken skin, or any area that is not suitable following consultation.

Important note

This is a cosmetic body treatment, not a weight loss treatment. Results vary from person to person. Fat loss, inch loss, cellulite removal or permanent results are not guaranteed.

A short suitability check will be completed before treatment. Treatment may be refused or adapted if it is not suitable for you.

Temporary redness, warmth, tenderness, sensitivity, bruising or swelling may occur after treatment.
